It’s Not About Quality
Or equality for that matter. Playboy remains in the Appstore, whilst Apple have shafted all the other developers with their double standards.
It’s about customer expectations.
The majority of people hate the Playboy App, and there is a simple reason for this – customers are being misled, they *think* they are buying a mens mag when they are actually buying, well I dunno what they are buying – a well known brand that is not delivering what it’s buyers expect (Apples fault not theirs) – clearly shown in the ratings for the Playboy App below:
As you can see from the ratings below (screenshot just before it was taken down), the majority of people love the Wobble App – they know what they are getting and we deliver – almost 60% voted 5 star:
